On January 10, 2015, make way for Baroque music! I’ll be sounding the trumpet with the Orchestre de la Vallée du Haut-Saint-Laurent, conducted by Daniel Constantineau, for a memorable evening during which one will hear works of Québec composer André Gagnon, on baroque instruments : Mes quatre saisons (four concertinos for pianoforte and string orchestra, based on themes by Jean-Pierre Ferland, Félix Leclerc, Claude Léveillée and Gilles Vigneault, with soloist Ruxandra Oancea), and Les turluteries (two suites for baroque orchestra and pianoforte, on themes by La Bolduc). These works will be recorded on the ATMA label later this year.

Treat yourself to moments of pure warmth, and chase away winter’s biting cold.
